Hm. I wonder if there's a link between the aggression needed to defend a country and sex drive? Might this not be a good material for research at universities? (Or indeed, is this something that's already been known for decades, but never publicized?)
We've turned into a nation of smarmy-faced self-righteous twats. The shameful thing is this. It's us those political charlatans are pandering to for those precious votes that are keeping them in power.
I'll just add, there IS a book providing strong evidence that a link between aggressiveness and sex drive (at least in men) exists. It's called Human Aggression by eminent psychologist Anthony Storr. It's short, very well written and for the layman.
I recommend it to anyone interested in psychology or who simply loves to read.
